The impact of a horse

We all have that one horse that changed us, saved us, made us ...

I really feel like Tayen will be a horse that changes me and my horsemanship. She is making a real mark on who I am as a horseman.

I would not have been ready for her a few years ago, recent years have served to prepare me for her but I still have so much to learn. Previously my focus has been in the wrong place, I’ve spent the last few years finding myself as a horseman. Discovering who I am, and who do I want to be? ( something that when you're around horses is forever evolving )

Tayen came to me at a time when I was really starting to live and breathe a much healthier life. Her presence in my life has really helped me own my principles with horses as well as my life principles too, removing toxic habits, unhealthy mindset habits, unhealthy relationships and creating healthy habits and relationships that enrich, empower, support and share an interest for wanting to live in a similar way.

I love the way without her knowing she challenges how I look at things, approach things, reflect on what is really important in the moment. She makes me consider how incredibly important my feel and timing is, what my internal language is saying and how much gratitude she has taught me

She sure is a horse that will keep me humble, whenever my egoic mind takes over she’ll be sure to let me know.

I can be nothing but present with this girl, she is all about mindset, and whilst I’d say the majority is mindset over method, she will take no prisoners should you show up with your ego or even your mind elsewhere, she’ll remind you.

She blows me away, daily.

Has a horse changed your life?
